Motorcycles and other vehicles in such public auctions are often seized from convicted felons or people who have done unlawful misdeeds that caused their vehicles to be impounded. In such cases  impounded vehicles can not be claimed by their owners, they are sold at public auctions.

Since the motorcycles are auctioned off, their prices really depend on how much interest each specific motorcycle generates. Motorcycle bidders can get lucky if the other bidders are there to purchase cars and trucks. Remember not to be too eager in bidding a high amount because you might be the only one bidding for that vehicle.

Gov-auctions has the largest database of repossessed and seized motorcycles from across the country. Besides the  motorcycle database, it also has a updated database of seized cars, trucks and more.
