It’s a Boy
I have noticed a new trend in motorcycle blogging, baby pictures! So seeing how I can be a little trendy, I thought I’d throw in this post before this boy gets any older, and posting baby pictures are a thing of the past.
It’s been two months since the world has been blessed with another Electra Glide In Blue baby. The newest addition to the family comes from my number two son. This boy just missed being a New Years Eve baby for 2010 by about fifteen hours. I thought it was about time to share this miracle with the world.

Born in the United States of America on Dec. 31st at approx 8:40am, this boy weighed in at 8 lbs-3oz. He stands 21 inches tall. Reports are big hands and big feet. I have to go by the reports because he’s about 1,000 miles to the east of me, and I hate going east. Something strange happens to me when I cross the mighty Mississippi and head east, and I’ll save that info for a possible future post.

Congratulations! What a cutie. Big guy too.
I have my first grandbaby coming, and that event is happening 2,000 miles to the east. As much as I can’t fathom riding east after moving to Colorado to ride in the west, I plan on heading that way at the end of May. I can’t bring myself to go anywhere on anything but my bike once riding season gets here. Good excuse for a ride.

Grand-babies, I do understand the excitement and hype. I got myself one of em almost 13 years ago. He lives with his Mom and Dad in Kansas City, MO.
I haven’t been west to see him since 2007. But when he asks his mom which Grandma she’s talking about, he calls me “The cool Grandma”…cuz I ride my bike to see him every time I come (Three times since he moved there in 2002.
Congratulations on the birth of a good sized healthy boy with big feet (for kicking those stubborn big twins alive) and big hands (for wrenching, and other sweet things one can do with big hands…)

Awesome! Now you have another pair of ears to tell all those great road stories to. Possibly someone else who will want to share and learn your passion for the bike.
Congrats!!!

charlie6,
Thanks, I know you have a little wait to go before any grand-kids ride in your rig.

Chessie,
As always, thanks for stopping in and leaving a comment. Sounds like you’re overdo for a KC trip.
FLHX_Dave,
I start telling stories and around here and people look at me like I’m crazy, fresh new ears is just what I need for some good conversation.
Willy D,
The tee shirt shopping as just begun, I think it won’t be long and he’ll fit into my hand-me-downs.

Congrats. Take a lot of pictures while they are cut. My boy just turned 13 and getting pictures is more difficult.

Dear Sir:
Somehow, I missed the posting when it was new. Congratulations on the birth of a new BMW Rider. The kid looks like he’s smart and a pisser already. Somewhere in the world, a “K” bike has his name on it.
Fondest regards,
