The licensing agreements were developed and negotiated by Los Angeles-based new business development consultancy Brand Sense Partners, LLC (BSP), and will broaden car care solutions available to consumers under the ARMOR ALL brand.
“The addition of these new Armor All branded lines to the already wide-ranging family of automotive care products available under the ARMOR ALL brand supports Armor All’s position as the leading brand in car care for both the inside and outside of the vehicle,” said Steve Silberblatt, vice president of new business development & licensing for Armor All’s parent, The Clorox Company. “Auto enthusiasts will now have access to an even wider range of ARMOR ALL branded products to keep their cars, and the spaces in which their cars are garaged, clean, protected and looking like new.”
Cleva North America, a leading worldwide manufacturer of wet dry vacuum cleaners, accessories and outdoor power equipment, will introduce the Armor All(TM) branded Utility Vac, a 2.5 gallon wet/dry vacuum with a six-amp, two-peak motor and features on-board accessory storage, a blower function and an automatic shut-off to prevent overflow. Specifically designed for automotive care, the vacuum comes complete with a detail accessory kit including a six-foot hose, reusable cloth filter and foam sleeve, round dusting brush, crevice tool, deluxe car nozzle and a storage pouch. Cleva’s Armor All branded Utility Vac has a MSRP of $39.99 and will be available at retail beginning in the fall of 2008.
New commercial-grade Armor All(TM) branded interlocking Floor Tiles by Forma Floor, manufacturer of professional grade flooring tiles for the racing industry, will also be offered by Forma Floor. They are constructed of a unique, high-impact polypropylene material that is extremely resistant to UV light, oil, chemicals, bacteria, weather and stains. Available in a variety of colors, the flooring tiles feature easy-snap assembly that will offer consumers an alternative to the lengthy and often laborious installation process required for garage flooring products currently found in the marketplace. The flooring tiles will be launched at retail during the spring of 2009.
In addition, a complete line of high-performance refinishing products, including auto body and fiberglass repair products has been licensed to bear the ARMOR ALL Brand and was developed by Pro Form Products Ltd., a leader in the auto body specialty market. In a category with a limited number of suppliers, the agreement with Pro Form will provide retailers the ability to offer consumers a superior option in the paint, body and equipment aisle with a highly recognized brand. The refinishing products will be available at retail during the spring of 2009.
“These licensing agreements present an ideal opportunity for the Armor All brand heritage of quality and innovation to expand by combining the value and expertise of these companies and the value of the ARMOR ALL brand to create products that serve a larger portion of consumers’ auto care needs,” said Ramez Toubassy, president of Brand Sense Partners. “With existing brand extensions that include car cleaning tools and wiper blades, the addition of these new product categories creates a broader solution for consumers available under the trusted ARMOR ALL brand that is clearly worth more than the sum of its parts.”
The new Armor All branded products will be available at mass retailers, auto channels, home improvement stores and online.

With the economy, world wide, crumbling lower and lower each day, we need to cut our expenses as our income dwindles or dies altogether. It has become a daily struggle just to survive. There are a number of ways we can begin to tighten our belts even further and that is online car insurance. This, however, can be a challenge. The options are numerous and available both off and online car insurance companies. You want to choose your car insurance carefully, so that it is what you want and need. One that will be there for you, if need help.

There are things to think about when searching for online car insurance. Here are some things you might want to keep in mind while you are looking for a car insurance company, before you make a decision. Let’s start with….

[sinp]On|About[/spin]Customer Service

One of the important items is customer service. Pick a company or two and look at the customer service part of them. Talk with any of your choice car insurance and get their opinion about the customer service department. Many people use the Better Business Bureau to find out if any complaints have been issued against a company. If complaints have been filed - that’s a “red flag.”
The “BBB” report will also be an indication of a reliable company.

Find out if they are Financially Solid

The last thing you need is to file a claim and find they can’t help, filed bankruptcy or their doors are closed to business. When you are making a claim, it is too late to change your car insurance company. To check on their financial stability you can go to Standard & Poor’s ratings. They will also have a company’s credit rating as well. A car insurance company with a solid financial background is a good choice. Remember reliability and financial stability are two of the most important things to look for. And don’t go for a rating lower than BBB with Standard & Poor’s.

Cost of Car Insurance

There is an enormous difference in price from one online car insurance to another. You can check this on the website of each company you are interested in. Just request a quote. Going online and getting this information is easy and quick. Research has found quotes from $69.00 to over $300.00 for the same coverage. You will request the same coverage you are now getting with your current car insurance company.

These are the three most important things to look for. Just remember…reliability, financial stability and cost of this insurance. You will get competitive prices when you request your quotes and will see the difference from one car insurance company to another.

With research and patience you will find a car insurance company you are comfortable with and everything you want and need from a car insurance company. Reliability, financial stability, good coverage and affordable fees from a car insurance company, are what you are looking for.

Will gas prices ever go down

Gas prices is a hot topic these days leaving people to wonder will gas prices ever go down. Even if small price cuts are possible, a return to reasonable gas prices doesn’t look likely. With the latest economic downturn, the price of gas is rapidly leaving the reach of hard-working individuals who haven’t seen a pay raise to match the ever-rising cost of everyday goods.

One source of hope is that as demand for gasoline drops from people traveling less, and cars becoming more efficient with new fuels appearing on the horizon, supply and demand factors will consequently keep prices stable, even if on the high side.

One factor that will keep gas prices from going down is the cost of refining the gas to burn as cleanly as possible to meet ever-stringent emission standards set by law. Refineries will need updates, more research and development studies, more training of personal in new refining methods will all be among the list of excuses oil companies will offer for why the price of gas is so high. These are gas economy facts.

It seems unlikely that the government will do anything substantial to reduce gas prices, because there are simply too many competing political priorities; if gas prices are to come down.

People will travel less and spend less, hurting our economy even more, and as the cost of food rises, the quality of food people purchase will decrease which will probably result in higher health care and insurance costs. People will also need to start planning their activities better, for example planning all errands for a single day to reduce traveling and fuel consumption.

The most important thing people can do is make their voices heard. They shouldn’t just complain to friends and coworkers, they should share their concerns with their governmental representatives in letters, emails, or phone calls. Your tax money pays their salaries, so they should be working for you to represent your interests. The problem is that they are also listening to oil lobbyists, but hearing from their constituents in a large group can make a difference.

Will gas prices ever go down to manageable levels for most people? Very likely any decrease will be negligible, but if you add your voice to the increasingly large group of people seeking change, it is possible that our national leaders may listen and take meaningful action to stop run-away gas prices”listen.

And meanwhile it is still wise to be realistic in other spheres of life, cars including. I have found only eight states that offer this program, and have never seen this information on any TV news programs.
To honor a veteran and receive your “Vote in Honor of a Veteran” button, for the next election, you complete a mail-in form and return it to the Office of the Secretary of State. A personalized button, with the name of your veteran on it, will be mailed directly to you prior to the November General Election, so you may cast your ballot in honor of your veteran.

Hydrogen for cars - how to run your car on water.

As gas prices are rising to previously unimaginable levels, every available resource is being explored to replace fossil fuel. Hydrogen fuel seems to be a possible alternative. Hydrogen for cars will not only provide the chance to explore new energy sources; it will also open up better potential for us to improve how we travel overall.

The era of hydrogen fuel car?

Hydrogen gas keeps climbing the list as one of the top contenders for fossil fuel replacement. It exists naturally in everything from coal and water to the compost heap in your backyard. The high degree of availability makes hydrogen gas a valuable resource to consider.

Methods for producing hydrogen fuel for cars can vary, but they are all quite efficient and much cleaner than is fossil fuel production. For instance, a gasoline production refinery requires 300 billion gallons of water to produce that fuel, but if it produced the same amount of hydrogen, it would only need one million gallons of water.

A gallon of hydrogen for cars costs half the price of a gallon of gasoline and improves fuel economy by more than two thirds. Hydrogen fuel generates lower engine operating temperature and there is no emission of hazardous fumes by its use.

A big problem hindering the production of hydrogen-fueled vehicles is the lack of available hydrogen fuel. In the future, home hydrogen refueling stations may become a realistic possibility.

An explosion of new vehicle designs will emerge when hydrogen fuel powered cars become the standard in the automobile industry. The electricity to power these vehicles would be generated within a much smaller engine from the hydrogen fuel, thereby eliminating many of the limitations imposed not only by the size of gasoline engines, but also those restrictions based on the heat produced by a gasoline engine. Limitations from designing around current driveline equipment would also be eliminated by the new hydrogen-fueled vehicles.

Clean, cost effective and environmentally safe, hydrogen is the fuel of our future. As hydrogen production increases and becomes more available, fueling stations will open and we will reap the savings and environmental benefits of using hydrogen for cars.

The new man behind the wheel is Elon Musk, Mr. Musk is the fourth chief executive of the San Carlos, Calif., company since it was founded in 2003. Elon Musk, who made his fortune from the sale of online payment site PayPal to eBay, acknowledged that building cars has taken four times the time and effort he expected.

Water 4 Gas Scam

It seems that everywhere you turn these days, prices for every day essentials are skyrocketing. From the grocery store to the gas pump, prices seem to increase almost weekly or in the case of gasoline, daily. It’s no wonder that people are attracted to any product that claims to save to you money at the gas pump. The latest craze that’s sweeping the nation is water for gas or water 4 gas, as it’s popularly called.

Is it true that you can use water for gas? Actually not in the same way, as a matter of fact, if you get water in your car’s engine, it would mess up the engine and ruin your car. So does it mean the water4gas is a lie? In fact, it can be done, but it has to be implemented a different way.

Water4gas is a bit of misnomer because the water is not the actual alternative fuel, but rather provides the elements hydrogen and oxygen to create the reactive process to boost gasoline performance and economy. There is no dispute that hydrogen gas burns more cleanly and efficiently than ethanol-based gasoline and unlike gasoline, produces no emissions other than ordinary water vapor.

Supplying small amounts of hydrogen will help your car burn gasoline more efficiently. Thus, your car will consume less gas. You can conceivably create an alternative source of power for your car by splitting water into its component atoms of hydrogen and oxygen. Sound far-fetched? Not, really, NASA sends its shuttles into space using the same hydrogen fuel.

What the majority of the various water4gas systems currently out there do is provide instructions for converting your car to use water4 gas technology. Some online sources sell the kits that you put together and then install on your vehicle. For downloadable versions of the water4gas systems, you need to build it yourself.

Many people believe that any technology that has not been proven is bogus. If you look up the term “water4gas” on Google or Yahoo, you will find dozens of sites that claim the system will save money and just as many that hold that the water for gas idea is ridiculous. There are several online forums where water4gas technology is discussed quite heatedly. You will find both vehement opponents and stubborn defenders of the technology there.

Whether or not the water4gas system is a lie or the truth, gas prices are decidedly unfavorable. A tried and true way for reducing the amount of money spent on gas has not happened yet and people are still waiting for this to happen. The car manufacturers Honda and BMW are just beginning to design and produce cars that are powered by hydrogen fuel. Just in time for summer 2008, Honda is planning to release its first hydrogen fuel cell car available for the public. The Clarity FCX will be available for leasing only in limited areas of Southern California.
